Miracles
In seven minutes, I'm having a dinner party. Guess what? The house is clean, the food is made - all that's left to do is serve & set the table. The dogs are even walked; I took them on a long hike out at Lake Powhatan this morning. This is a total first in my disorganized life; this is the only time I've ever been this ready for a party. Wow. Occasionally, I amaze myself. Be amazed. Be impressed. This may be the only time in my life I'm ever going to be this together.

the place was lovely Fliss! The food good, the dogs chaotically happy, but most important - it was great talking to everyone. Helen and i had a great time and i even got to expound on my vast knowledge of Fireplace inserts.
